Privacy Statement

SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide, such as your name, address, and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. This privacy policy also applies to our subdomain descubre.calzadobarefoot.com, where we collect and use data in a similar way.

Email: info@calzadobarefoot.com. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT

How do you obtain my consent?

When you provide us with your personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange a shipment, or process a return, we imply that you consent to the collection and use of your information for that specific purpose only.

If we request your personal information for a secondary reason, such as marketing, we will explicitly ask for your consent or provide you with the opportunity to refuse.

How can I withdraw my consent?

If you change your mind after giving consent, you can withdraw your consent for us to contact you, or for the collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time by contacting us at info@calzadobarefoot.com or writing to us at: Calzado Barefoot, C./ Arraial, 11, Tui, Pontevedra, 36700, Spain.

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if required by law or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – HOSTING

Our store is hosted by DINAHOSTING S.L. They provide the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Dinahosting’s data storage, databases, and the general Dinahosting application. Your data is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payments:

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, your credit card data will be stored. This information is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is retained only for as long as necessary to complete the transaction. After completion, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways comply with PCI-DSS standards, which are managed by the PCI Security Standards Council—a collaborative effort by brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and service providers.

For further clarity, you may also want to read the Terms of Service of PayPal here or Redsys here.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, some third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide to them for purchase-related transactions. For more clarity, you may also want to read the Terms of Service and privacy policies of PayPal here and Redsys here. In order to offer Klarna’s payment methods, during checkout we may transmit your personal data contained in the contact form and order details to Klarna, allowing Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment methods and to tailor them to your profile. Your personal data is processed in accordance with Klarna’s privacy policy.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies to understand how your personal information will be handled.

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party site or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

SECTION 6 – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure that it is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
